Popped the disc in expecting the usual PS1 load lag, but it fired right up and every mode ran without a hitch. The roster and franchise depth still hold up after all these years.
Disc came in better shape than I expected for a used copy, no scratches that caused any skipping. Spent a whole afternoon on exhibition mode and the commentary still holds up.
Snagged this to relive my childhood and the disc loaded right up on my old PS1 with no skipping at all. The franchise mode still holds up surprisingly well for a 2005 sports game, and the season stats track exactly like I remember.
