The 10-inch size is just right for sitting on a shelf without taking over the whole thing. The dress and crown are stitched on well, not glued, so I'm not worried about pieces coming loose.
My daughter hasn't put this plush down since it arrived. At 10 inches it's the perfect size for her to carry around, and the stitching on the dress has held up through a few washes already.
Bought this as a desk buddy and the 10-inch size is just right, big enough to actually hug but not so huge it swallows the whole shelf. The stitching on the crown and dress held up fine after a couple weeks of handling, no loose threads yet.
