The cartridge arrived spotless and booted up on the first try. I played through the first couple levels and the controls feel just as tight as I remember.
Fired it up expecting the worst since it's such an old cart, but it booted right away and the save worked fine. Pins were clean with no gunk, and it plays exactly like I remember.
The cartridge arrived cleaned and the pins look spotless, no blowing needed—it booted right up on my old Game Boy. Honestly the platforming in the whale level is still brutal, but that's the game, not the cart.
