Shinobi - Game Gear 遊戲

Picked this up used and the cartridge still saves and runs perfectly on my old handheld. The ninja platforming holds up way better than I expected for an early portable title.

The shuriken throwing feels tight and responsive on the Game Gear d-pad, and the levels are bite-sized enough for a commute. My used cart booted right up with no save issues.

Picked this up to replay the arcade feel on my original Game Gear and the sprites hold up surprisingly well on that small screen. Only gripe is the difficulty gets brutal around the later levels, but the cartridge itself plays without any glitches.
